Garinger, just 20 years old and born on June 11, 2003, hailed from South Dakota but met his untimely demise in Boone, North Carolina. His mother, Mary Hobbs, confirmed the heartbreaking news, recounting the harrowing details of his final moments.
“I was with him when it happened. He was just moving [the ATV] from one parking spot to the next for me, so I could back into park,” she re. “He pulled [in] front of me to park the ATV and the ground gave way from all the rain and mud.”
